Within Capture Expense, you can export a template which contains the Category data, for reporting purposes. You can also use the exported headers as the template for importing new information.
To export category data
- Navigate to the Categories page. A list of pre-defined categories appear.
Go to Setup> Overview> Expense Categories or Setup> Categories - Select Export from the Action menu.
Export instructions appear. - Follow the instructions.
- Perform either of the following:
- Deselect the Include data... option. The template will only contain the column headers. This is useful if you wish to import new Category data into Capture Expense.
- Select the Include data... option. The Categories' data is exported.
- Click the Download button. The template is downloaded to your local drive.
