How do I import vehicle data?

After you have filled in the empty Vehicle export template or edited the existing data, you can save the template as a .csv file, you can import the new data in bulk into Capture Expense. 

 

Before you begin...

To help you prepare your import template file, export the template from Capture Expense  with or without data. Fill in the relevant information. 

To import vehicle data

1. Navigate to the Vehicles page. 
   Go to Setup> Overview> Vehicles & Rates or Setup> Vehicles
2. Select Import from the Actions menu.
   
   The Vehicles Import page appears.
   
3. Follow the instructions. 
4. Upload the completed Vehicles template by clicking the Find File field and locating the .csv file.
   
5. Click the Import button. A message appears stating that the import is successful. And the new data has been imported.
